Marketing
Think you know what marketing is? Think again.
The Marketing department at the world-renowned and internationally accredited UWA Business School provides students with the knowledge, experience, and skills to become dynamic marketers in an ever-changing world. We’re not all about advertising; we’re about understanding what people want in a world that is constantly evolving. The need for marketing graduates with such an understanding is growing year on year.
Marketing has a central role in understanding what different types of people in different places across the globe want. UWA’s motto is 'Seek Wisdom', and we hold true to this in marketing. Our teachers are researchers who help students to understand the role of marketing, through curiosity, creativity, analysis, evidence and innovation.
We link with the WA marketing community to expose students to the local leaders in industry. Our graduates find work in this community, but also nationally and internationally. They take up roles in branding, content marketing, marketing analytics, social media marketing, and search engine marketing, to name a few, on the agency side and the client side, in all types of profit, non-profit, and Government industries.
