IAS Fellowships

The Institute of Advanced Studies plays a central role in facilitating interdisciplinary research collaborations between UWA’s scholars and leading researchers from across Australia and the world, with a mission of further enhancing the University's global research profile.

Individuals working outside the academy, including artists, musicians, writers, activists, and public intellectuals are also eligible to apply for an IAS Visiting Fellowship, where their visit would contribute to the overall mission of UWA.

Remuneration

  • Grants of up to AUD $3000 for Australian-based scholars, and up to AUD $6000 for international scholars are available to support costs of travel and accommodation related to activities by the Visiting Fellow.
