Senate Legislative Committee
The Senate Legislative Committee is a Standing Committee of the Senate and works directly under the authority of the Senate to focus on legislative and regulatory matters involving University Acts, statutes, regulations, by-laws and standing orders. Its constitution includes the ability to consider a matter referred by the Senate, Chancellor or Vice-Chancellor.
The committee is distinct from the Academic Board Legislative Committee which has a focus on legislative drafting that relates to academic matters.
