Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Urban Design
What is Architecture?
Architecture is the conceptualisation and design of individual buildings and urban landscapes in response to existing and emerging environmental, social, technical and economic needs.
We offer pathways into a career in architecture via our 3-year undergraduate majors + 2-year Master of Architecture, or a 3.5-year Master of Architecture for holders of undergraduate degrees in other fields who wish to make a career change.

What is Landscape Architecture?
Landscape architecture is the planning, design and management of our natural and built landscapes for the benefit of communities and the future health of the planet.
We train landscape architects via our 3-year undergraduate major + 2-year Master of Landscape Architecture, or a 3-year Master of Landscape Architecture for holders of undergraduate degrees in other fields who wish to make a career change.

What is Urban Design?
Urban designers deliver solutions for the needs of cities and neighbourhoods.
We deliver postgraduate courses at the Australian Urban Design Research Centre in the heart of Perth city.

What is Building Information Modelling?
Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a new paradigm in construction. Today, the industry uses 3D models as the basis of a building inception, design, construction management and facilities management.
Our postgraduate courses in BIM will put you at the forefront of the construction industry, allowing you to become a decision-maker and have a direct impact on the quality of our built environment.
