Why study at UWA College?
Guaranteed place at UWA
As a UWA College student, you receive an offer of a place in the UWA course of your choice. All you need to do is achieve the necessary grades and meet any additional selection criteria prescribed by UWA (with the exception of degree programs which have a quota).
Programs designed by UWA
UWA has created the suite of programs, giving you the perfect academic stepping stone into university-level studies.
Study on a university campus
The programs will be based at UWA's main Perth campus from 2022, enabling you to experience the UWA student lifestyle from the very beginning of your pathway.
Access to UWA facilities
As a UWA student, you'll have access to all UWA facilities and will be eligible to become a member of the UWA Student Guild, so you can join clubs and societies to meet other UWA students.
Expert academic staff
UWA College staff are experts in their fields and in teaching international students. Their skills and experience allow you to excel in your studies. You will benefit from a variety of teaching methods including lectures, tutorials, group work and presentations. All subjects are supported by reference texts, handbooks and software packages.
Smooth transition to university
The delivery method encourages you to adapt easily to the Australian tertiary academic system. Classes are in small groups, augmented by university-style lectures and individual timetabled tutorials. You will learn how to study independently, work in groups, become a leader, conduct research and deliver presentations – all necessary skills for success at university.
