What is Explore UWA Day?
Explore UWA Day is the best way to get a feel for uni life and find out all the info you need to know about choosing a course, applying, enrolling and studying towards your dream career. This is your chance to get all your burning questions answered, gain insight into our courses and your career opportunities. You can also get a taste of what student life is like with details about accommodation and tours on offer.
When and where is it held?
Explore UWA Day will be held on Sunday 28 August 10am – 3pm at our Crawley campus. There will be activities across the whole campus as well as the residential colleges. Oak Lawn will be home to Future Students and Campus Life Hubs, so we recommend making that your first stop.
Who should come to Explore UWA Day?
Explore UWA Day is for everyone – high school students, parents, teachers, careers advisers and anyone thinking of university study. All you need is a sense of curiosity and excitement. So join us on-campus on Sunday 28 August – you never know what you might learn.
What time should I arrive?
The day officially starts at 10am and finishes at 3pm. You can arrive any time in between or based around the information/event sessions relevant to your interests. Register today and we’ll keep you in the loop with the event program. From there you can check out the full list of events, and create your own personal schedule for the day to make sure you don’t miss a thing.
How do I get to campus?
UWA is easily accessible by public transport and car. We recommend using public transport, car-pooling, cycling, walking or other active methods to access the campus. Free parking is available on and around the campus on the day.
How do I get around campus?
There will also be lots of signs around on the day to help you find the main venues and amenities. If all else fails, just ask one of our friendly staff or students (wearing blue UWA shirts) and they’ll be happy to help point you in the right direction.
Where do the Campus Tours depart from?
Campus Tours will depart from the marquee on James Oval at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm. These tours are led by Student Ambassadors and they’re a great way to find out more about life as a student at UWA.
Do I need to register?
Yes, you need to register your details if you’d like the chance to win one of 3 $1000 travel gift cards. In the lead up to Explore UWA Day, once you’ve registered you will receive access to the full program of all the info sessions and resources and you can create your own personal schedule for the day. It’s a great way to make sure you see everything you’re interested in.
