Costs and affordability:
If you’re looking for ways to make postgrad study more affordable, there are several options to reduce costs. If you have previous qualifications, ‘Recognition of Prior Learning’ can reduce the length of your course (and therefore the cost). If your study is related to your employment, you could be eligible for tax deductions, or your employer may be open to a ‘professional development proposal’ to share course costs.
You can also apply for a scholarship to help cover the costs. There are scholarships for everything from academic and sporting excellence, to leadership, and social impact, as well as for women, Indigenous students, regional students and scholarships for students experiencing challenges.
