The beginnings of the Stan Perron Charitable Foundation
The late Stan Perron, AC CitWA, was an extraordinary person, an exemplary leader in business renowned for his commitment to ethical behaviour. In 1978, Mr Perron established the Stan Perron Charitable Foundation with a particular focus on helping Western Australians in need.
On his passing, Mr Perron set down his vision for the Foundation’s future giving, including his desire to help disadvantaged young people to achieve their potential through education and to foster ethical behaviour in business.
The Perron Foundation Scholarship in Business Leadership is aligned with the values he displayed in his creation and leadership of one of Australia’s most successful private companies, Perron Group.
Despite his enormous success, Stan Perron is remembered as a man who never forgot the struggles of his early life, using them as the inspiration for his most lasting legacy: The Stan Perron Charitable Foundation – making a difference to those in need.
