Starting with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Pharmacology, and Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, this was followed by a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, which she completed with distinction.
“This pathway offered me a blend of practical experience and knowledge that equipped me for a dynamic career in podiatric medicine,” Denise says.

Throughout her career, Denise has embraced opportunities that have established her standing in the podiatric medicine. She was recently honoured as the Allied Health Professional of the Year 2024 in rural and remote areas at the WA Excellence in Allied Health Awards.

At Kununurra’s high-risk foot clinic, Denise is known for her collaborative approach to patient-centred care, working with nursing and home care teams to streamline access to services. She goes above and beyond for her patients, ensuring they feel fully informed and supported while navigating the health system.
Beyond her career, Denise is passionate about mentoring upcoming professionals and contributing to discussions that drive evolved healthcare practices.
