When Mezyndra and Maddi started studying at UWA, they might not have pictured themselves hop-step-and-jumping towards a career in sports.
Mezyndra majored in genetics for his undergraduate degree, and has now shifted his focus to study a Master of Human Resources and Employment Relations. While Maddi is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Communication and Media Studies alongside Italian Studies.
To help get a taste for their future career paths, build enterprise skills and apply their knowledge in the workplace, these two UWA students are doing internships with Netball WA. And they’re really shooting for their goals! They both love the culture and community aspect of working with a sporting organisation and gaining valuable insights that can help them succeed in their future careers.
