Dr Peter Franklin

Environmental and occupational health researcher and lecturer
Dr Peter Franklin is a Senior Research Fellow in the School of Population Health with interests in both environmental and occupational impacts on human health. His research focuses on the health effects of mining exposures, indoor and outdoor air pollution, and occupational and non-occupational exposure to asbestos.
Dr Franklin is currently Director of the Occupational Respiratory Epidemiology research group and a member of the Global Environmental Health research group at the School of Population and Global Health, and the Children's Environmental Health research group at the Telethon Kids Institute.
Dr Franklin teaches Environmental and Occupational Health, as well as Epidemiology, within the postgraduate public health program in the School of Population and Global Health.
