Monadelphous Integrated Learning Centre

A simulated professional workplace

The Monadelphous Integrated Learning Centre (MILC) is the result of an innovative alliance between The University of Western Australia and leading national engineering group Monadelphous.

In this centre, world-class teaching and practical training in engineering combine to form a learning environment that is based on a simulated professional workplace.

The strong focus of the Schools of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences on producing employment-ready graduates is complemented by this exciting venture.

The close collaboration with Monadelphous, a leading recruiter of UWA graduates, also creates many opportunities for our Engineering graduates.

The centre  further strengthens interaction across the board, from academics and industry, to students in varying years of study and disciplines of engineering. The facility integrates the management of real world projects from design through to prototype development and final presentation to clients.

An emphasis on integrated learning, management experience and communication skills means the Schools continue to produce graduates with world-class technical and project management skills.
