Finding Connie invites audiences on an exploration of the enigmatic life and music of Connie Converse, one of the most intriguing and mysterious figures in American music history. A pioneering singer-songwriter long before her time, Connie Converse disappeared without a trace in 1974, leaving behind a body of work that has since earned her a cult following and solidified her as a major influence in the evolution of modern song writing. 

In collaboration with students from the UWA Conservatorium of Music, Mirabilis Collective will present the world premiere of chamber music reimagining of Converse's repertoire. These newly arranged works breathe fresh life into her poignant, introspective songs, highlighting her unique voice and lyrical depth.
