West Australian Opera advises the cancellation of ELIJAH, which was to be presented with UWA on 8, 9, 10 May at Winthrop Hall.

Mendelssohn’s Elijah

Prepare to be moved by enchanting voices and powerful melody. Mendelssohn’s heroic work Elijah is an opera in disguise, an old testament story that has been performed countless times as a sacred oratorio. In this reimagining, West Australian Opera with director Patrick Nolan, four of Australia’s
most beloved singers and the UWA Conservatorium of Music will bring this spectacular gem to life.
