The Art of Composition: Music in the Gallery

Visual and sonic art overlap in this special evening premiering new works by UWA Conservatorium of Music students.

Using artworks in the current exhibitions HERE&NOW20: Perfectly Queer, Drew Pettifer: A Sorrowful Act and (Un)ladylike Acts at the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery as inspiration, the program features a series of new, short pieces by 11 composers followed by a Q&A.

This event is organised by Victor Arul, Naoko Uemoto, the LWAG Student Advisory Committee, the Conservatorium of Music, and the Music Students Society.
