Centre Stage

Due to the rapidly developing COVID-19 situation and advice from the Government and Department of Health, UWA Music concerts and events have been cancelled until late April.

We are obviously saddened not to be able to share these wonderful events with you, however the safety, health and wellbeing of our students, staff and UWA community will always remain our top priority.

For more information about COVID-19, visit health.gov.au; or for UWA-specific information, visit uwa.edu.au/coronavirus.

A jam-packed program of stimulating performances and events in 2020 showcases the immense talent of our young emerging artists and their mentors, along with celebrated alumni, and national and internationally recognised guest artists. From workshops and lectures to intimate chamber performances and large-scale collaborations, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

The Song Company and Con-Cantorum: Burden of Truth

Australia’s leading professional vocal ensemble, The Song Company, joins forces with the Conservatorium’s Con-Cantorum for a performance featuring arrangements of two landmark works for a cappella voices, including the première season of a new arrangement of Gavin Bryars’s epochal minimalist Jesus’ blood never failed me yet.

Tickets: $30-60
