Good things come to those who wait!
From the multi-award-winning composers of Wanjoo and Koolbardi wer Wardong, Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse, comes a new children’s production - Aliwah Bardinar! (Look-out Rosella!). The performance celebrates the nyttiny (creation) story of how the Bardinar (Western Rosella) got its colours.
Featuring inspired set design by Fiona Bruce, vibrant costumes by Michelle Ward, gorgeous puppets, vivacious choreography and original new music, audiences will be entranced by the cheeky frog, elegant swan and the beauty of the Noongar language.
Aliwah Bardinar! will be performed by Gina Williams & Guy Ghouse alongside phenomenal artists Jarred Wall & Julianna Thomas, UWA Musical Theatre students and the Aquinas College Schola Cantorum, conducted by Pia Harris and directed by our very own Chair of Music Theatre, Matt Reuben James Ward.
