Accelerate! Strings

Accelerate! is UWA’s elite string training program designed for advanced string players in years 10-12, who are looking to take their playing to the next level!

Participants will have the opportunity to work closely with UWA Conservatorium Strings Staff: cellist and acclaimed educator Associate Professor Suzanne Wijsman and Simon Lee Foundation Musician in Residence and Concertmaster of the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra Shaun Lee-Chen. The program will include workshops and masterclasses where participants will receive expert individualised input on performance, performance skills and musicianship. This program is particularly suited to advanced string students and/or those doing ATAR Music.

This is a full scholarship program and there is no cost to participants. Places are strictly limited and entry is via application and audition.
