Title: Herbicide resistance across the Australian continent
Abstract
Annual ryegrass is the weed of greatest economic impact in Australia due to its formidable capacity to rapidly evolve resistance to herbicides. I will present the results of a large study conducted in 2020 to characterise resistance levels to stand-alone herbicides and binary mixtures across Australia and provide examples of cost-effective options for weed resistance management.

Title: Soil mapping using electromagnetic induction for Leptospermum nitens survival and growth in Western Australia
Abstract
Australia has an abundance of native Leptospermum species, which is renowned for the source of high value bio-active honey production. Leptospermum nitens is one the species identified with the potential of making WA as ‘hot spot’ for producing bioactive honey. I will be discussing about the soil mapping identifying the properties for optimum survival and growth rates of newly planted L. nitens sites.
