Interested in Travel? Come along and listen to our staff and students talk about the available International Units you can take

At this seminar you will hear from Academic Staff on their upcoming International units in 2020 and 2021.

You'll receive information about the available international courses you can enrol into as part of your major and how this is of benefit to your degree.

Hear first hand experiences from students who have taken the unit in previous years and how this has benefited their learning and career opportunities.

SCIE2209 - One Health Field Training

Experience an 8-day intensive field course run in the Temenggor Belum Park, one of the oldest rain forests in the world. This module will expose the participants to a unique and fruitful synergy of traditionally separate disciplines of environmental, animal health and human health. This will show the participants the importance of collaboration in solving intractable human-animal-environment problems and give the participants the understanding and knowledge to work with other disciplines. The course is designed to field-focus and introduces participants to the central components and conceptual frameworks that underlie and unify the three disciplines.

SCIE2208 - International Fieldwork in Thailand

Experience first-hand the agricultural and environmental challenges facing Thailand with real on ground experiences, visits to agricultural stations, rural communities and/or national parks. Integrated field-work will give students an unique insight into the different socioeconomic and environmental issues facing agriculture in Asia.

ENVT3337 - International Fieldwork Project

Investigate the agricultural production environmental impact nexus, in a real world context by either participating in a field trip to Vietnam. Students participating in the Vietnam field trip, will find themselves focusing at the project management level, working with office based staff; primarily in the field via extension and data collection work; or a combination of both.

Lunch will be provided with time to mingle with past students and staff !
