The WA Department of Health has detected Ross River Virus (RRV) in mosquitoes in the Crawley area.

Mosquito Bite Prevention Tips:

Be Aware: Mosquitoes are most active at dawn and dusk but can bite at any time.

Cover Up: Wear long, loose-fitting, light-coloured clothing to protect exposed skin.

Repel: Apply insect repellent containing DEET, picaridin, or Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus (OLE/PMD) to all exposed skin.

Clean Up: Prevent mosquito breeding by removing, emptying, or covering water-holding containers around your home.
