The Digitisation Centre of Western Australia – an innovative collaboration between the Western Australian Universities, the State Library of Western Australia, and the Western Australian Museum is conducting an Inaugural Symposium on 4 December 2024, bringing together the research intellectuals and opportunities regarding the necessary cultural materials that have been digitised to date.
The DCWA welcomes interested researchers, collection managers from WA to participate in this iconic day of dialogue and discussion. The symposium would shed light on collections that have been digitised and rediscovering cultural collections, reminiscing historical designs, and redefining institutions and infrastructure!

The Digitisation Centre of Western Australia (DCWA) was established and began operating in 2021 with the goal of digitising major Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences collections held in Western Australia, has grown and expanded to digitising collections from all disciplines. DCWA offers digitisation services at the archival level for paper-based, photographic, audio and audio-visual materials.
