Juliet Roux, who majors in Business Analytics with a direct pathway to the Juris Doctor, is interested in the legalities of business data management and intellectual property.
“My exchange to Singapore is an unmissable opportunity to learn from a world-leading institution and understand the increasing intricacies of digital business and cyber-law,” Juliet said.
“By building industry, professional and personal relationships, I hope to add to our knowledge exchange in this field between Australia and Asia.”
Malaysian-born James Zhi Wei Yong is musically inclined and completed a Diploma in Classical Music at WAAPA in 2023 specialising in trumpet. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) majoring in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science majoring in Physics and will be going to Hong Kong for his exchange.

The Westpac Asian Exchange Scholarships are awarded annually to undergraduates who are passionate about strengthening ties between Australia and Asia.
Recipients receive funding to study in either China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, South Korea or Taiwan for up to two semesters. The funding supports travel, study and living expenses as scholars immerse themselves in the cultural, social and political experiences of the region.
