From mock court trials to experiencing life as a doctor and listening to the universe via a spacetime simulator, aspiring students and their families can explore everything campus life has to offer at The University of Western Australia’s Open Day on Sunday 17 March.
UWA’s stunning Perth campus will form the backdrop to a jam-packed day, which will also feature interactive activities in our state-of-the art trading and analysis centre, a chemistry demonstration showcase at the School of Molecular Sciences, virtual dentistry simulations, and much more.
Attendees will be able to access hands-on activities, information sessions, campus tours and speak with UWA academics, graduates and current students as they get a taste of UWA’s open and inviting environment and cutting-edge facilities.
UWA Director of Future Students Trish Rechichi said 2024 Open Day is designed to help future students and their families find out more about their study and career goals while exploring the University’s inclusive campus life, culture and services.
“If students are still choosing the right course for them or know exactly what they want to study, they can come and discover our campus, talk to our current students and graduates and learn about the wide range of courses on offer,” Mrs Rechichi said.
“They can get information about our range of entry pathways, including experience-based entry, support for students and the many scholarships that are available.
“It’s a wonderful day packed full of interactive information sessions, live music and food trucks, chill out zones and this year, students can also take part in a fun game of Spike ball or wheelchair footie!
“People who register to come along can win some amazing prizes including a MacBook Air, Beats Studio Buds gift cards or handpicked student packs.
“But most importantly, they will experience the vibrancy of our campus and study experience and see for themselves, what life could be like at UWA.”
