The University of Western Australia’s Business School has retained its top ranking in Western Australia for its Master of Business Administration program.

UWA’s Business School has one of the leading MBA programs in Australia and was ranked eighth in the Oceania region in the Global MBA QS rankings for 2024.

The rankings are based on employability, return on investment, entrepreneurship and alumni outcomes, thought leadership, and class and faculty diversity.

UWA MBA Director Professor Allan Trench said he was pleased to see the program continue to achieve the top ranking in Western Australia, and a competitive ranking globally.

“That said, rankings can never capture the full richness of the UWA MBA lived experience,” Professor Trench said.

“The quality of our MBA students and MBA alumni are the best measure of the program’s success and impact.”

UWA’s MBA helps develop the knowledge, skills and networks required to transition into senior leadership roles in the global business landscape.

And the University’s internationally accredited Business School has a global reputation for delivering outstanding postgraduate and MBA courses.

“From a personal perspective, the simple benchmark that I use as MBA Director is to ensure that the UWA MBA program reaches new heights each year in terms of scholarly depth, practical business content and in the level of industry engagement,” Professor Trench said.

The University’s MBA program is the longest-running in WA, with 50 years of proven success and thousands of high-achieving alumni.
