With plenty of pre-season training under their belt, Team UWA, led by coach Michael Clarke, are ready for UBL 2021.
The University Basketball League (UBL) is one of the newest pathways to elite Australian sport, created by UniSport Australia with the support of Basketball Australia and the respective State Basketball Associations.
Although the season was originally scheduled to begin in 2020, due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, it was postponed to 2021.
Team UWA are now ready to face their varsity rivals, and are the only team from Western Australia to feature both a men’s and women’s team.
The season will begin on Wednesday 14 April as the men’s team take on Murdoch University in a home game.
