Remember the hours spent doing optical and reflected light microscopy in the Geology 3rd Year Laboratory?  

We need your help to raise $500,000 to modernise this laboratory to continue to train geoscience graduates for the changing employment needs of industry and government into the future!

This very important laboratory is in dire need of renovation to provide a practical and inspiring learning environment for geoscience students. We aim to build a bright, modern mixed physical–digital space for undergraduate and postgraduate students to undertake practical activities that combine classical petrology with state-of-the-art geochemical and geophysical data interpretation. This appeal builds on the generous response of our alumni which provided high quality, research-grade microscopes for this lab.

All donations $5000 and above will be recorded on a donor board in the laboratory.
