Journal information
Launched in 1995, Limina is a refereed academic journal of historical and cultural studies published by the University of Western Australia with a commitment to open access publishing. The journal operates with a special commitment to publishing the work of postgraduates and early career researchers, and encourages creative methodologies. The journal promotes resistance to traditional disciplinary boundaries, and at the same time demands a rigorous approach to issues of research, context and theoretical debates.
Each year we publish a general issue and a special themed issue associated with the Limina annual conference. Each issue comprises original research articles and academic reviews of recently published books within the arts, humanities, and social sciences.
Limina is double-blind peer reviewed.
