UWA owns and manages dedicated accommodation for UWA students; with more than 230 studios, apartments, and houses located on the streets neighbouring UWA, our properties are ideal if you:
- are a mature-age or postgraduate student
- wish to live close to uni with your family
- prefer a more independent lifestyle.
Living so close to UWA means most of your neighbours are uni students too. You're also able to walk to shops, cafes, public transport and the Swan River - all of this adds to the relaxed yet energetic vibe of the neighbourhood.
Not far away is Kings Park, one of the largest inner-city parks in the world; it overlooks Perth City and is a great place to walk, run, ride or have a picnic.
Dining table and chairs
You’ll also have access to laundry facilities, a dedicated property management team and maintenance support; many of the properties have car parking spaces, too.
Being independent and living in rental accommodation means you add the personal touches to make your home yours so we don’t include everything. Some items that you’ll need to buy or bring are:
- kitchen plates, cutlery, glasses, cooking utensils, toaster and kettle
- bed linen, blankets, pillows and quilts
You will be responsible for managing your household utility connections and ongoing charges, including Internet, electricity, water and gas.
