Here’s how to build a degree that takes you to the courtroom, the boardroom, or any room.
The fact is that many students are often undecided about the career they wish to follow.
What may at first seem like hesitancy or a lack of conviction could actually prove to be a strategically smart move.
That’s because you’re keeping your options open. While the left side of your brain may see you standing in court and confidently declaring your client ‘not guilty’, the right side may equally see you at the head of a boardroom table discussing your next takeover strategy.
Either way, you’ve landed in the right place, because with a UWA combination, there’s every chance we have just what you’re looking for.
The difference between a UWA combination and a double degree
Double degrees can usually be just that: two standard single degrees taken at the same time.
A UWA combination is different. Yes, it includes two different areas of study, but these have been carefully curated to ensure they complement each other perfectly – not just in terms of the study area, but also in terms of fast-tracking your future … whatever you choose it to be.
Combining areas of specialisation from different bachelor’s degrees means you’ll gain the same level of qualification and transdisciplinary skills found in a double degree (Australian Qualifications Framework 2020).
That really is a double whammy. You get the prestigious degree your ATAR deserves, plus the flexibility to increase and enhance your eventual career options.
Below are just a couple of examples of UWA combinations. There are, of course, many more. If you have specific areas of study in mind, book a one-on-one appointment with our Future Students Team. They’re ready and waiting to help match your career goals to a great combination at UWA.
