The School of Human Sciences provides a vacation scholarship, an honours scholarship, a postgraduate travel award, annual prizes for undergraduate students, and an honours prize.

Wilf Simmonds Scholarship in Physiology
Applications close at 4pm on the last Thursday of Semester 2, for a supervised research experience of between six and eight weeks over the summer vacation. Please download and use this Project Outline and Application Form.

Dr Margaret Loman-Hall Scholarship
Applications for the School of Human Sciences Dr Margaret Loman-Hall Scholarships open twice each year, during the honours application period from October through to January.
Applications from prospective honours students are invited.
Scholarships are funded by a bequest from Dr Margaret Loman-Hall. The purpose of the scholarships is to assist and encourage students who undertake a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Anatomy, Physiology and Human Biology at The University of Western Australia.
Each Scholarship is valued at $7500 and comprises:
- $6000 during the honours enrolment as a stipend
- $1500 during the honours enrolment as a research costs allowance
To be eligible for a Dr Loman-Hall Scholarship, applicants must:
- be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia
- enrol in a Bachelor of Science (Honours) program in the School of Human Sciences
To apply, complete one of the application forms below and submit together with:
- an academic reference
- a completed Anatomy, Physiology and Human Biology honours application form
to the Academic Services Team Leader of the School of Human Sciences.
Applications open during the honours application period, October through to January.

Dr Roy D. Bloebaum and Lois D. Bloebaum Graduate Student Travel Award
The purpose of the travel award is to enable a graduate student studying Anatomy and Human Biology in the School of Human Sciences to pursue and benefit from travel experience, further studies, work experience or conference attendance relevant to their area of study.
