UWA showcases exciting new courses available to international students

The University of Western Australia has created an all-digital experience to showcase the broad range of courses and opportunities available to international students at its International Open Week.

International Open Week will run from September 12 to 16 and will comprise webinars with Q&A, on-demand videos, drop-in sessions and live chats.

Prospective students can chat live with UWA students, staff and graduates about study options and future careers, and gain tips to help with the transition from high school to university. 

UWA Nobel Laureate Professor Barry Marshall will host a session focusing on his career highlights and research into peptic ulcers.

The new courses respond to the needs of the global economy, industry and society, preparing students for a rapidly changing world, and ensuring they are well-prepared for jobs of the future.

UWA has flexible study options, including online study with full academic, social and wellbeing support for students who choose to study remotely.

The courses include new majors and minors, as well as new bachelors, honours and postgraduate degrees. They include degrees in areas such as automation and robotics, artificial intelligence and international cybersecurity.
