Research Assistant Professor
Location
Room 205, Molecular and Chemical Sciences Building, Crawley campus
Biography
Dr Donna Geddes originally worked as a radiographer. She then studied ultrasound gaining the DMU. She then completed a Postgraduate Diploma on breast blood flow and milk injection following up with a PhD researching breast anatomy and milk injection at UWA under the supervision of Prof Peter Hartmann.
Key research
- Suck, swallow and breathe reflex of both successful breastfeeding babies and those experiencing difficulties.
- Stomach capacity, particularly in breastfed babies.
- Milk injection and breast anatomy in relation to breastfeeding and pumping performance.
Qualifications
DMU PhD W.Aust.
