The Herbert Smith Freehills Scholarship in Mining Excellence

COURSEWORK

Herbert Smith Freehills has donated funds to The University of Western Australia ('the University') to provide a scholarship to encourage and assist an eligible student enrolled in the Advanced Legal Research units, as part of their studies towards the Juris Doctor, to undertake a research project in the area of Mining Law at the University.

Eligibility

(a) be enrolled
(i) full-time
(ii) in the Juris Doctor degree course and
(iii) in LAWS5509 Advanced Legal Research Part 1 and LAWS5510 Advanced Legal Research Part 2 and
(b) have submitted a research proposal for the Advanced Legal Research units endorsed by the Director of the Centre for Mining, Energy and Natural Resources Law as being in the field of Mining Law.
