About this event

Congratulations on receiving your offer to study at UWA in 2024! We can’t wait for you to join us.

Join one of our pre-departure sessions to hear from our friendly International Student Support Team as they help you through the onboarding process. You’ll gain helpful tips and advice on what to do before departing your home country, navigating UWA systems (including UniStart), and support services to help you settle into life in Australia. You’ll also get to virtually meet some of the friendly staff who will be here to meet you when you arrive.

The sessions are relevant to new students (whether you’ve accepted your offer, pending acceptance, or have started the enrolment process), your family, and recruitment agents.

There will be no need to have a camera or the ability to log into your UWA student account on Microsoft Teams. If you’re a domestic student, or an international student who has already arrived in Perth, register to attend one of our in-person Getting Started Session.

If you’re an international student who has not yet arrived in Perth, join us for an online Pre-Departure Session.

What to expect

In this online session you’ll receive tips and advice from our International Student Support team to support you through the onboarding process at UWA. You’ll also hear from current staff and students and have your questions answered.

You will receive an email with a webinar link one week prior to the session date.
