Founder Ashleigh Small describes Hello Initiative's innovative response to helping young people involved with youth justice.

About this Event

The youth justice system in WA is extremely complex, and young people caught up in it can be expected to navigate it independently. Lacking access to technology and communication tools, this navigation becomes difficult and creates a revolving door of justice. Join Ashleigh Small to discuss new ways of looking at youth justice and the ways we create communities of support in 2020.

Ashleigh Small, Founder, Hello Initiative.

Ashleigh graduated from the UWA Master of Social Work in 2019. During her final year and with the support of the BloomLab, she founded Hello Initiative. Ashleigh is passionate about harnessing creative and innovative solutions to address the challenges facing her community.

This talk is part of the Disruptive Social Ideas series which features innovative researchers and practitioners exploring new ideas and evidence-informed solutions to challenging social problems.
