As a performer you can work creatively, performing in areas such as a symphony orchestra, chamber ensemble, in the Australian Defence Force, as a soloist, opera singer, chorister, accompanist/repetiteur, session musician, pit-musician, in musical theatre and freelancing. Other roles include conductor, ensemble director, choir director and in community music. You could be self-employed or engaged through agents.
