Our opening hours are 9.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday, 10.00am - 4.30pm Friday and closed 12.00pm - 1.00pm Tuesday. Closed weekends, public holidays and university shutdown period.

EZONE UWA Student Hub

EZONE is UWA’s newest student hub at the western end of campus. EZONE North opened to students in 2019, with EZONE Central opened 2020. EZONE houses a mix of social and collaborative workspaces, meeting areas, quiet study areas and venues to host events, industry and activities. All students can use the facilities which include kitchenettes, couches, informal areas and meeting rooms.

Students can reserve more than 10 meeting spaces, two video conferencing rooms and 14 learning studios.  Student-led activities, from club events to industry talks, cultural celebrations and social events, are encouraged to check out the free venues in EZONE. Student Association Council

The Student Association Council is made up of representatives from the Faculty and student clubs and associations affiliated with EMS disciplines. The Council meets regularly during semester to discuss matters relating to student experience and to facilitate communication between the Faculty and students. Get in touch with the EMS Student Office to find out more.

Professional Practicum

Professional Practicum consists of at least 12 weeks, or 450 hours, of relevant practical work experience. You are responsible for organising your own work experiences and accruing the required number of professional practicum hours.

Record volunteering hours

Giving back to the community through outreach and/or mentoring of current and prospective students offers numerous personal and professional benefits. If you volunteer, be sure to record your hours. Submitting your hours means they’ll be formally recognised on your academic transcript at the end of each semester and may contribute towards your professional development hours within your professional practicum.
