EZONE UWA Student Hub

EZONE is UWA’s newest student hub at the western end of campus. EZONE North opened to students in 2019, with EZONE Central scheduled to open in April 2020. EZONE houses a mix of social and collaborative workspaces, meeting areas, quiet study areas and venues to host events, industry and activities. All students can use the facilities which include kitchenettes, couches, a library, informal areas and meeting rooms (bookable through Libcal).

Once completed, students will be able to reserve more than 10 meeting spaces, two video conferencing rooms and 14 learning studios.  Student-led activities, from club events to industry talks, cultural celebrations and social events, are encouraged to check out the free venues in EZONE. Visit the EMS Student Office to take a look at the space, or to book for an event, email ezone-ems@uwa.edu.au.

Record volunteering hours

Giving back to the community through outreach and/or mentoring of current and prospective students offers numerous personal and professional benefits. If you volunteer, be sure to record your hours. Submitting your hours means they’ll be formally recognised on your academic transcript at the end of each semester and may contribute towards your professional development hours within your professional practicum.
