Semester 2

  • Cycling Experience

    Thursday 28 September 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
    Friday 6 October 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm

    Session Breakdown: 
    3:00pm – 3:30pm Learn how to ride (Beginner)
    3:30 pm – 5:00pm Cycle Route (Beginner/Intermediate)

    Learn how to ride or take part in cycling routes throughout the scenic UWA Surroundings in this 4-week course. Whether you’ve never ridden a bike before or you have experience, UWA Sport Staff will assist in starting your cycling journey. Free for international students with all necessary equipment provided.

  • Hike and Explore with UWA Sport

    Make friends and explore the beautiful surorunds of the UWA Campus with UWA Sport's Hike and Explore sessions, held Fridays 8-9am/

    For the month of August, International Students can join these hikes for free!

  • Stand-Up Paddle Board Experience

    Saturday 14th October 9:00am & 11:00am 
    Saturday 21st October 9:00am & 11:00am 


    Experience Stand-up Paddle Boarding on the beautiful Matilda Bay. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from experienced instructors, meet new people and have fun. No prior experience is necessary, however a basic level of swimming ability is required.

  • UWA Water Awareness Program

    The Water Awareness Program encourages confidence in swimming and water safety activities. The program educates you on water safety and safe swim skills. At the end of the program, you will have a greater understanding of your own water safety and how to help others. Each session is 45 minutes in duration. Held at the UWA Aquatic Centre, this program is designed as a short course, providing students with the knowledge and ability to be safer in various aquatic environments.

    Program 1: 2 August 2023 - 6 September 2023, Wednesdays 1:45pm-2:30pm
    Program 2: 13 September - 18 October 2023, Wednesdays 1:45pm-2:30pm
