Thesis: The nature and geographical distribution of duricrusted laterites within the Darling Range region of south-western Australia
This thesis focusses on the surface-occurring duricrusted laterites within two selected study areas of the Darling Range region of south-western Australia. These features have been greatly modified since they were first developed and this thesis investigates the nature of such modification and their geographical extent within the current landscape.
Why my research is important
This thesis seeks to establish a clearer understanding of the nature and geographical distribution of the duricrusted laterites through the provision of more precise physical and chemical descriptions than currently being used.
