Dr Kenneth Lee

Bringing together health and education and learning in the digital age
Dr Kenneth Lee is a senior lecturer in Pharmacy Practice at UWA. Dr Lee completed a PhD (2015) and a Bachelor of Pharmacy with Honours (2010), before joining UWA. Previously, Dr Lee worked as a sessional tutor at Curtin University and lecturer in Pharmacy Practice at the University of Tasmania. Since registering as a pharmacist in late 2011, Dr Lee has continued to practise as a community pharmacist.
In 2015 Dr Lee was recognised as the PSA WA Young Pharmacist of the Year. Dr Lee was honoured for connecting the state's pharmacists through the WA Pharmacists' Discussion Forum. He has taught across a variety of subject areas, including research methods, pathophysiology and extemporaneous compounding, and has extensive experience in teaching pharmacy practice at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Dr Lee's teaching and research interests revolve around the theme of 'health education and learning in the digital age.' His interests are supported by his PhD research on consumers' online health information-seeking behaviours, with honours research on the use of electronic portfolios to support authentic assessments for pharmacy students, and creating/co-creating various social media channels for health professionals and students.
