Investigating the intricacies of taxation law

Nicole Wilson-Rogers is a lecturer at UWA’s Law School. She holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Finance, from UWA alongside a Master of Taxation from University of Sydney.

In 2012 she was the joint winner of the CBS Programs that Enhance Student Learning Award.

Ms Wilson-Rogers began her career in taxation as she enjoyed the challenge and complexity of the taxation legislation and how taxation law integrates elements of her law and commerce degrees.

Prior to joining the Law School, she worked as a lecturer at Curtin University, at the Office of State Revenue and in private practice in taxation for both legal and accounting firms.

Taxation law permeates all areas of commerce and impacts nearly all individuals and businesses. I enjoy the dynamic nature of taxation law and to have the opportunity to be involved in teaching and researching in this area. Nicole Wilson-Rogers
