Adjunct and Clinical Title Holders

Adjunct appointments provide a mechanism for the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences to recognise suitably qualified and experienced individuals who make a significant contribution to the academic activities of the Faculty.

There are two categories of adjunct – those who are actively engaged in clinical practice (Clinical titles) and those who are non-clinical (Adjunct titles).

The Faculty has a long-established and strong tradition of support from appointees from a variety of backgrounds in health-related fields. They make significant ongoing contributions to teaching, research, mentoring and supporting students in clinical placements in an honorary capacity. There are currently approximately 1000 people who generously contribute to the Faculty in this way.

The success of the Faculty and our students is to a great extent due to the efforts of our adjuncts. On behalf of the Faculty Executive and staff, I would like to thank you for supporting our students, community and the Faculty. We deeply value your contributions and engagement, and we are delighted to have you as part of our team.

Please let me know if you would like to meet up at any stage.  I am always delighted to meet with our Adjunct and Clinical Colleagues.
