Engineering and Mathematical Sciences HDR Conference 2019
The University of Western Australia is excited to host the annual Engineering and Mathematical Sciences HDR Conference, taking place on campus Wednesday, 2 October 2019.
Solving today's cutting edge research problems requires collaboration among researchers with diverse expertise, therefore the theme of this year’s conference is Collaboration Across Disciplines. This conference will provide the opportunity to hear from our PhD students and initiate further collaborative research across the Faculty of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, and with industry.
2019 Conference Overview
9am - 5pm
Learning Studio 210 & Learning Studio 211, EZONE North
UWA PhD students who have completed a year of research will present their proposed and continuing research in 15 minute sessions, run concurrently over two venues throughout the day. RSVP essential.
6pm - 8pm
Ground Floor, EZONE North
UWA PhD students who have completed two to three years of research will showcase their work at the evening event of the conference. Industry representatives are invited to attend, network and discuss future opportunities for collaboration. RSVP essential.
Following on from 2018, student prizes will be awarded for the best oral and poster presentations.
