Research and teaching interests in archaeology at UWA are complemented by a professional consulting unit, Eureka Archaeological Research and Consulting.
This unit:
- provides independent, university-standard archaeological services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, the private sector, and government
- offers a range of archaeological services related to Indigenous cultural heritage including excavation, monitoring, significance assessments, and site recording, of which rock art is typically one feature.
Eureka has been involved with a range of rock art recording projects involving Industry and Indigenous communities, and the staff includes experienced rock-art recorders.
