Biography
Matthew is a human geographer with interests in regional development. Most of his research has focused on the range of economic, social and demographic changes affecting regional Australia. This has included work on aspects of employment and labour dynamics, local economic development, and land use change. His teaching is concentrated in the areas of regional development, economic geography and population.
