- Biography
- Winthrop Professor Lister Staveley-Smith is Deputy Director (Science) within the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR). His research is oriented towards frontline radio astronomical observations with world-class facilities, and preparing the path for future telescopes such as the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) and its precursors, The ASKAP and MWA telescopes. ASKAP and MWA will be built in Western Australia which is also one of two preferred sites for the SKA.
