- Biography
- Tauel has been teaching since 2001 in five different universities. He has been working in Communication Studies at UWA since 2007.
- Key research
- Tauel's broad research area is critical theory, more particularly, critical theory about the subjects of communication, democracy and theories of play.

Tauel is the Arts Faculty's representative on the Board of Studies for the Design Major

- Tauel hopes to play a substantial role in repairing the public sphere.

- Tauel has been granted a number of travel awards for presenting conference papers and has also received University funding for the publication of his first book.
