Born in Canada, educated in France (ENS, EHESS, Agregation de Sciences Sociales: Paris). Lived in Canada, Egypt, Switzerland, Germany, UK, and Australia. PhD in Economics. MSc Sociology. BLaw. Worked for INRA (Montpellier) and UWA (Perth).
